Turn any Song in iTunes into a Ringtone for the iPhone

Getting ringtones can commence to include up, so why not develop your very own making use of the songs you previously have on your personal computer? Given that the iphone has to use iTunes to work, Apple has produced it straightforward to get any song you currently have in your library onto your iphone. With a easy file extension renaming, you can include any .aac or .m4a file to the ringtone portion of your library, in which it can then be synced to your iphone.

Open your "Music" folder, and then open the "iTunes" folder, followed by the "iTunes Library" folder.

Locate the file that you want as a ringtone.

Click on "Tools" and "Folder Options" in the drop-down option menu that follows.

Click on one tab above to "View" in the new box that seems, and Find the "Cover extensions for identified file types" line. Make positive this is checked,

Click on "Apply" and head again to the file. Change the phrase "aac" or "m4a" with "m4r."

Double Click on the file you have just renamed and it will open in iTunes. This will also now produce a Ringtones tab on the left of the library.

Sync the iphone like you typically would, but this time head to the Ringtones Tab on your iphone menu when it pops up right after plugging the phone in.

Pick the ringtone you want to upload and then sync the iphone.
